SEOUL, Korea (January 18, 2017) – The World Taekwondo Federation announced the following personnel changes in the WTF Seoul headquarters office. These changes will be effective from today.

 

Mr. Seok Jae Kang, who was the senior director of the Member Relations & Development Department, will be now working as the head of President Office assisting President Chungwon Choue’s work.

 

Mr. Jeongkang Seo, who was the director of President Office, will now work for Event Department, a new department. The Event Department will support for a smooth operation of competitions and programs for empowering refugees through taekwondo: World Taekwondo Cares Program and Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation.

 

Mr. Corbin Min, who was senior director of Legal department, will now work for both Legal department and Member Relations & Development department as well. These two departments are now combined.

 

After the announcement, President Choue asked the staff to make sure to prepare for a successful World Taekwondo Championships that will be held in June at Muju, Korea. He also announced for further personnel changes in the office in July, after the World Taekwondo Championships.
