DAEGU, Korea (Jul. 7, 2024) - The Daegu 2024 World Taekwondo University Festival wrapped up its three-day run today.
After an opening ceremony, two days of kyorugi competition and one day of poomsae competition - both recognized and freestyle - took place in the southeastern Korean city.
Kyorugi embraced 12 categories, while poomsae included seven categories, including individuals and teams.
Over 700 athletes from 56 countries competed in the festival’s inaugural tournament.
The annual event, which is promoted by WT and endorsed by FISU, has three scheduled editions, which will run through 2026.
