“We cannot wait for the Grand Prix Series to get underway in Moscow. We launched the Grand Prix four years ago and each year we have seen it grow in popularity. This year will be particularly special as we have four iconic cities hosting the events. Taekwondo is a truly global sport and the cities that host our events reflect that. I have no doubt that all four cities will host fantastic events and full stadia with passionate fans will provide the optimum environment for our elite athletes to perform at their very best.”

The World Taekwondo Grand Prix Series was launched by World Taekwondo in 2013 to provide the very best athletes with the opportunity to challenge themselves against one another on a regular basis. The annual series of competitions regularly provides some of the most exciting and spectacular taekwondo action of the year.
